W. Greg Dunlevy

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer<br/>Founding Partner
W. Greg Dunlevy leads Kosmos’ financial, planning and administrative functions. He was instrumental in securing $2.3 billion in combined debt and equity commitments by a global consortium of banks and financial institutions, which supports the company’s exploration, appraisal and development program, especially in Ghana.

Dunlevy has extensive experience and expertise in oil and gas finance, planning, treasury and banking. He has worked with large- and mid-cap U.S. independents for more than 25 years.

Prior to co-founding Kosmos in 2003, Dunlevy was CEO of Moncrief Oil International, Fort Worth, Texas. While leading the private enterprise the company completed a complex $40 million merger of its Azerbaijan business unit with a privately held international producer.

Previously, Dunlevy was senior vice president, CFO and treasurer of Triton Energy, where he was responsible for corporate finance, budgeting, treasury, tax, accounting, media and investor relations functions. As a senior member of Triton’s executive management team, he worked closely with the CEO in setting strategic direction and completing the sale of the corporation at a 50% market premium, and was instrumental in securing $350 million in private equity for the corporation.

Upon the sale in 2001 of Triton to Amerada Hess Corporation (subsequently Hess Corporation) for $3.2 billion, Dunlevy led Triton’s transition from a publicly held company to a Hess business unit.

Dunlevy began his career with ARCO, where he worked for ARCO Petroleum Products Company, the ARCO Oil and Gas Company and Lyondell Petrochemical Company subsidiaries. At Lyondell he managed and built the company’s first investor relations department following its $1.3 billion IPO.

Dunlevy is a graduate of Harvard Business School and the College of William and Mary.
